First launch

  1. 1Open the downloaded DMG, then drag RenameTo into Applications.
  2. 2Open RenameTo from Applications. Its icon appears in the menu bar; the app does not add a Dock icon.
  3. 3If Gatekeeper blocks the first launch, try opening RenameTo once, then open System Settings → Privacy & Security, click Open Anyway, and confirm Open.
  4. 4Follow onboarding to choose watched folders and grant the access needed for RenameTo to process files there.
  5. 5Enter your email in the app to start the free trial.
